Microsoft unveils their Health Platform , along with a Microsoft Band worth $199

In competition to Apple and Google which have launched Health kit and Google Fit respectively , Microsoft unveiled their own Health Platform along with a Microsoft Band. This band works with multiple platforms and is available in US for $199.

When it comes to Health facilities , this band monitors Heart rate , sleep tracking and GPS Run Mapping .The band also gives email previews and calender alerts. Talking about its display , its a 1.4 inch touch display  with 320  X  160 resolution and it is Dust and splash- resistance. It is powered by dual 100 mAh batteries.
This band also includes wide range of sensors - Optical heart rate sensor , 3-axis Accelerometer / Gyro , Gyrometer , GPS , Ambient light sensor , skin temperature sensor , UV sensors , Capative Sensor and Galvanic skin sensor. The Band also has a microphone that allows you to connect with Cortana.


The Band also could be used to get notifications for text messages , calls , calenders, email , Facebook and Facebook messenger  , Twitter , weather and much more. Band even includes Bluetooth 4.0 that could be used to sync your data to your phone in the background. Even you can learn much more about it here

Finding a Thinner smartphone...?? Oppo unrelieved R5 Thinnest smartphone in the World...... !!

Oppo as usual continuing doing new things , this time  this Chinese vendor comes up with Thinnest Phone in the World.  Alongside the launch of N3 , Oppo launched R5 , a device with thickness of just 4.85 mm , making it the thinnest phone in the world.  It's not only about just  thinnest  phone but much more. The device comes with a 64 bit CPU and full HD display.


When it comes to screen size , it's a 5.2 inch full HD display with wide viewing angles , 2 GB RAM . 16 GB internal memory. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm's 64 bit octa-core Snapdragon  615 CPU , which features eight cortex  A 53 cores clocked at 1.5 GHz .
Talking about the camera , its a 13 MP camera with a song imaging sensor  (IMX214) , 5 MP front shooter , LTE connectivity , WiFi ac and Bluetooth 4.0. The phone is backed with a 2,000 mAh battery which may not be enough considering the screen size  but it comes with  turbo charging feature that allows you to quickly top up as needed. The phone comes with Android Kitkat 4.4 along with Oppo's Color OS 2.0.


The phone's built quality is great with Aluminium alloy that gives the phone a grace.For accommodating internals in such a tightly packed chassis , Oppo has created a coolant derived from metal-liquid and phase-change materials to dissipate heat away from the CPU. As for trade-offs there is no 3.5 mm  audio jack or a SD card slot and the camera sensor protrudes quite a bit at the back. For audio you have to resort to the bundled micro- USB 3.5 mm adapter . The phone is priced at $499 but the exact launch date is not available.


OppO N3's motorized swivel camera takes selfies to the next level ......!!

Oppo takes the selfies trend  to the next level with its new flagship phone Oppo N3 , a successor to its previous launch  N1. This Chinese company  adds a 16 MP  mortised  swivel camera that can track objects as they move. Its much cooler than it sounds . You can quickly flip the  camera with the flick gesture  on the screen or on the fingerprint sensor on the back. In addition N3 comes with a new O -click bluetooth remote that not only acts as a remote trigger , but it also lets you adjust the camera's angle using the extra buttons.



One other feature that the motorized swivel camera offers is that the new camera app in Oppo's Color OS 2.0 (based on kitkat 4.4) lets you install an auto Panorma plug-in which automatically takes a panorma shot while you hold the phone still.




When it comes to other phone specifications , the Oppo N3 has a 5.5 inch full HD display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution .It has a 2.5 GHz quad core Snapdragon 801 processor and runs Android 's Kitkat 4.4 version with Oppo's Color 2.0.1 OS on top. Talking about RAM , it comes with 2 GB of RAM and  32 GB internal storage which is extendable via microSD card (to 128 GB) . Connectivity options include 4G , Bluetooth , WiFi and USB 2.0. The phone is backed with 3000 mAh battery . The handset's battery has company's own VOOC rapid charging technology with which phone can be charged from 0 to 75 percent in just 30 minutes. Similar to Oppo Find 7, the handset features  a notification light  below the screen with new notification light below the screen with new notification software 2.0

Bye Bye Nokia Lumia ...!! First Microsoft Lumia coming soon.....!!

According to Microsoft 's Regional social channels , the company has posted an interview of its senior vice President marketing for phones at Microsoft Tuula Rytila on her blog.



She informs that Microsoft Lumia will soon be out but didn't mention exact timings. "This is off course a natural progression as all devices that once came from Nokia now come from Microsoft ", she said.
Although the name is changing  , Microsoft's commitment to current Lumia owners is not.  Microsoft assured  current Lumia users  that the company would continue to support older Nokia branded Lumia devices . In 2012 , Microsoft said that all future Windows phone would be supported for atleast 18 months with new updates.Thus company will unveil their device soon....

Facebook Launches their new Anonymous Message Board App named "Rooms"...

                "Because sometimes you want to go where nobody knows your name."


The world's biggest social media network , has launched a new ios app named "Rooms" which allows users chat within discussion boards on topics of common interest without disclosing their real names in order to allow freedom of self expression. It is an adapted version of internet "chat rooms" and operates independently of Facebook , so users do not need an account with the giant social media.



The main goal of this app is to let people communicate freely and openly from anywhere in the world . "It doesn't matter Who you are , Where you come from , What you look like and How old are you..".
This new app is designed to take interpersonal communications outside the user's usual social environment . which provides the users an opportunity  to be introduced to new ideas and viewpoints they would normally be isolated from.

In order to sign up user needs to give an email address. The app for Anonymous reasons would not connect with Facebook account. As far as privacy is concerned , the  information you post on Rooms will never be shared on Facebook Account and the information you share on Facebook will never be posted on your Rooms Account. 

The invitation process means each room can be public or private as it owners and members wish. The invite codes can be posted anywhere online or share just among a select group of people. each Room can be customized to a certain level of privacy , including whether or not room's post can be discovered on  search . Thus Facebook continues to bring  diffident people together...

Google Reveals Android 5.0 Lollipop.........Nexus Devices to have it first....!!

                        Finally  Android 5.0 officially named   "LolliPop".


Google finally broke silence  by revealing name of its latest update of its mobile operating system.
 The new update would be available on new Nexus devices , Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 . The other Nexus devices like Nexus 4, 5,7,10  and Google Update edition will also get an update in few weeks.
Apart from the first look given by Google early in this year , the new update include many new exciting features.


Notifications:


When it comes to notifications center , it can be viewed and responded directly from the lock screen. It has ability to hide sensitive content for these notifications . You can even customize  with notifications you want to be displayed.  Even timings of notifications could be set. Another great feature added is that incoming phone calls won't interrupt you whether.

UI Design: 

When it comes to UI . its a bold , colorful and responsive UI for consistent and smooth functioning of your device. Its vivid new colors , topography and edge to edge imagery help to focus your attention.


Battery:

A battery saver feature added which could extend its battery life by 90 minutes. Now estimated time left for the device to get fully charged could be seen. even estimated time left for the battery to get dead could be seen.

Security:

For more security , now the device comes with encryption automatically turned on to protect data on lost or stolen devices. Even an Android Smart lock to secure your phone or tablet by pairing it with a trust-able device like your wearable or even your car.

-In device sharing , a feature is added in which you could share your device but not your data is added.
-Network shift and connectivity have improved.
-New Professional photography features including:
:-capture full resolution frames around 30 fps.

LG's new mid-range quad core Android phone,,,,,L Bello in G3 look.....!!

Love G3's look but couldn't afford ?  LG's new L Bello is the best alternative...!!

After the success of their flagship phone G3 , LG comes with their new mid - range phones , L  Bello is one of them.  This  comes with the same look of G3 , the same signature "rear key " design  with a floating arc curved back and tapered edges.
The smartphone has a 5 inch IPS display with 480 X 854 pixel resolution. The phone comes with 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and 1 GB of RAM. The phone runs 4.4 KitKat operating system with LG UI 3.0 on top. Connectivity options included are  3G, GPS , WiFi , Bluetooth as well as Dual - sim with dual standby functionality. When it comes storage , L Bello comes with 8 GB of internal memory which is expandable to 32 GB via micro-SD card. It has 8 megapixel of 'rear ' camera with features like "Touch and Shoot" and " Gesture shoot". It has a 1 megapixel of 'front' camera with a "Front Camera Light " feature which helps in clicking selfies in low lit  settings. The phone is backed by a 2540 mAh battery and is available in Titan , Black and Golden colors. The phone is currently available in India with price tag of  about  Rs 15,000-16,000.


Another phone announced along L Bello last month is L Fino that has 4.5 inch IPS display with screen resolution of 480 X 800 pixels. Other features include 1.2 GHz of processor and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat. It also includes 8 megapixel of 'rear' camera and VGA 'front' camera and 19,00 mAh battery. Its launch dates are yet not confirmed.
