Acer back in smartphone game with a Triple sim Liquid E700 with front flash and Liquid Jade.....!! Could prove to be Killer Budget Smartphones...!!

                                            Two sims in a smartphone not enough for you...??                                                                                  Here a smartphone comes with Triple sim compatibility.

Acer , a popular name in computing industry is back with its smartphone portfolio in India. The company has made its comeback in smartphone world with two budget smartphones exclusively available on Snapdeal.com. Talking about these two smartphones , first one is the Acer Liquid E700 with comes with Triple sim compatibility unlike any other smartphone in the market leaving some cheap Chinese phones. Another main feature that doesn't come in this budget smartphone category is front flash.

 Specifications :: Acer Liquid E700

Starting with the screen , its a 5 inch HD  IPS LCD screen. This high definition screen is designed with zero air gap design  that provides smoother and responsive navigation. As talked earlier phone supports triple sim and 3G  Quad band. Talking about processor, its 1.3 Ghz Quad core media tek processor.  The phone comes with 16 GB internal storage  , 2  GB of RAM and runs on 4.4 Anroid Kitkat OS.  Coming to camera. its a 8 megapixel auto-focus rear camera with some Bright magic feature and LED flash. When it comes to front camera, its a 2 megapixel camera with LED flash. YES , you read it right. Front LED flash is given in this smartphone. A great feature is its 3500 mAh battery that is claimed to give 60 days of standby time , 12 hours of  video watching  and 24 hours of non-stop communication. The phone 's unique curved design make the phone comfortable in your hand. Its a great value for money phone.

The second smartphone Acer came up with is Liquid  Jade. The phone appeals to the elegant, beauty conscious  and highly social user . The phone simply looks beautiful with its unique design. Looking at some of its specifications.

Specifications:: Acer Liquid Jade

This phone also come with 5.0 HD IPS LCD display with coring Gorilla glass 3. Just talking about additional features in it is its 13 megapixel  rear camera. The main change they made is its battery that is 2100 mAh battery , that seemed strange as Acer gave 3500 mAh battery in its low varient and 2100 mAh in its high varient could be due to Triple sim support that would be confirmed after few weeks of the phone. The major feature in this phone is simply its looks. You look at it , you surely want it. Rest features are same in both.

It would be interesting to see whether Acer can compete its other competitors like Motorala, Asus. Samsung running successfully in this category. Its also the time when Xiomi smartphones get banned in India. It would be great to watch whether Acer could make its impact in Smartphone phone market with its these two good smartphones......Simply Time would tell......Both the phones are pretty good to buy on.

Your old Laptop Batteries could now power slums in India : Study by IBM India

According to a new study by IBM India,  discarded laptop batteries  still have enough life  in them to power slums in India. This means your old and useless batteries could now lighten a bulb in someone's home.According to Researches at IBM India , about 50 million Lithium-ion laptop batteries are discarded every year and this effort by IBM India could be a great example for the term "REUSE". According to a study done by  MIT Technology , it is possible to combine LED lights with Solar panels and rechargeable , however using discarded batteries this cost even gets cheaper.

"The most costly component in these systems is often the battery ", said Vikas  Chandan , a research scientist at lab's Smarter Energy Group , who led the project.
" In this case the most expensive part of your storage solution is coming from trash." said Chandan.

                But Has IBM tested this thing..?        The answer is Yes.

 The IBM Group working with a hardware R&D firm called the Radio Studio , opened the discarded laptop battery packaging  and extracted individual storage units called cells. They then tested them individually to pick out the good ones and combined them to form battery packs which could be used as a single unit, They added charging Dongles as well as circuitry to prevent overheating. What they did is that they gave them to five users in Bangalore who lived in slums or operated sidewalk carts. And three months , those five users gave a positive response that the battery packs had worked well. This technique could lighten many slums in India  without any heavy cost involved and we hope that this new study should be practiced and  power someone's home......!!

Upcoming Motorola Droid Is Rumored To Be a Better Nexus 6 with Snapdragon 810 and 4 GB of RAM

Motorola that last year made a dream  comeback with its Moto G device is on a roll. This year Motorola worked with Google to create the Google Nexus 6  , and it was a fitting gift for this partnership.

After the the release of Nexus 6 with Google , Motorola released its latest beast , the intriguing Motorola Droid Turbo , which had almost the same features of Nexus 6 but in a compact body. According to the latest rumors , the company is reportedly working on a new Motorola Droid Project that should improve upon Nexus 6 and be released in 2015.
The new unannounced Motorola Droid Turbo would be based on Nexus 6 but major improvements would be internals. The present Motorola Droid Turbo was also built with as much power as Nexus 6 but packed in a compact body.

According to the sources , the new Motorola Droid with a 5.9 inch screen size. Increasing the power , the phone would have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor better then in Nexus 6. Since it would be 64 bit processor , the RAM could be increased to 4 GB , increasing the CPU potential. More powerpul processor and an increased RAM would also drain battery early , so new Motorola Droid Turbo will be packed with 4,000 mAh battery whereas Nexus 6 is packed with 3,220 mAh battery.As Nexus 6 was a hit this year , and if these rumors are to be believed then this Motorola could prove to be a great alternative for Nexus 6 and it would be very interesting whether it could beat its own Nexus 6 device. Thus , Motorola surely is giving a great competition to other big smartphone brands and making its spot in top.
